Job Summary:
We are seeking a committed and passionate Christian Day Care Worker to join our team in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children under our care. As a Christian Day Care Worker, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports children’s growth, development, and learning, while fostering a Christian-based foundation for their lives.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe and secure environment for children under your care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate children’s learning and development, including arts and crafts, story time, outdoor play, and educational games.
• Incorporate Christian values and teachings into daily activities and interactions with children, modeling Christ’s love and grace.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers through effective communication, respect, and empathy.
• Maintain accurate records of each child’s daily activities, including meals, naps, and developmental progress.
• Ensure that all facilities and equipment are clean, sanitized, and in good working order.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required.
• Adhere to all state and local regulations governing the operation of the day care center.
Qualifications:
• A committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share His love with children and families.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of early childhood education courses preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, church, or school setting.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, growth, and development.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and co-workers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to move quickly and respond to emergencies as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the school’s office and performing various office tasks, such as answering phones, filing, and data entry. This is a part-time position that offers flexible hours during the school year, with summers and school holidays off.
Responsibilities:
•Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
•Greet visitors and parents, and assist with their inquiries
•Perform general office tasks, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning
•Assist with student registration and enrollment processes
•Help with mailings and other communication to students and parents
•Assist in maintaining accurate student records and files
•Provide support to teachers and staff, as needed
•Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Good organizational skills and attention to detail
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
•Prior experience in an office or administrative environment is preferred, but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with working hours from 9:30am to 3:30pm on weekdays during the school year, with summers and school holidays off. The office is a typical office environment with moderate noise levels, and requires the ability to sit, stand, and move around the office.

This is a part-time position with hours from 11AM – 6PM on weekdays during the school year.

•Assist with lunchtime, including serving meals and supervising students
•Provide support and guidance during art class activities
•Supervise students during playground time, ensuring their safety and promoting positive behavior
•Assist students with homework and academic assignments during after school time
•Engage with students in a positive and supportive manner, fostering a nurturing environment
•Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures regarding student behavior and safety
•Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress
•Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the school program
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
